The silver lining of COVID-19 for St Paul’s African House was that we were granted almost $208,000 as part of the Victorian Government’s Working for Victoria Grant Program in response to the COVID 19 impact on employment. With this funding we employed 7 local African people to work on a number of initiatives at St Paul’s African House the largest and most notable being – African Focus “Our voices are important in Greater Shepparton”. The funding also allowed St Paul’s African House to reopen and resume activities and booking hires after the COVID lockdown.
